More stakes

Mod Description

Adds stakes before many boss encounters.

What it do

Adds stakes of Marica to many boss encounters with tedious run backs. Stakes are added to the following bosses:

Loretta
Rennala
Maliketh
Placidusax
Commander Niall
Red Wolf of Radagon
Crucible knight in farum azula
Godskin Noble in Volcano Manor
Fallingstar beast in Sellia Crystal Tunnel

I've also moved the grace before Fire Giant closer to the arena because I was too lazy to add a stake there.

Installation

Install using ModEngine2.

Download the latest release and extract the files anywhere.
Donwload the mod and put the ‘map' folder into the ‘mod' folder in th ModEngine directory.
Run the game via launchmod_eldenring.bat

Alternatively, if you're using several mods, put the ‘moreStakes' folder into the ‘mod' folder, open ‘config_eldenring.toml' from the ModEngine directory, and add
{ enabled = true, name = "moreStakes", path = "mod\moreStakes"}
to the line beneath
{ enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" }
so it looks like this:
mods = [ { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" }, { enabled = true, name = "moreStakes", path = "mod\moreStakes" } ]
If you don't want all the stakes, simply delete the files from the mod

Compatibility

This mod is not compatible with other mods that edit the same map files.
However, it is compatible with Elden Ring Item and Enemy Randomizer by having the ‘map' folder from my mod be in the directory selected in the ‘Merge other mod' option in the randomizer (ie. if you place the ‘map' folder in the ‘mod' folder, select the ‘mod' folder in the randomizer)
