Yeah, there was already a mod for this years ago, although it’s pretty old and modding the original weapon sounds is a pain enough. This is basically a more simple version of that, replacing the Service Carbine sounds.
INSTALLATION:
Place the .awc file to “mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpsum2/dlc.rpf/x64/audio/sfx/dlc_mpsum2”
To have these sounds for the Carbine Rifle, just head to your “weapons.meta”, it’s in “mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai”
Right-click on it and search the word “carbinerifle” and press the down arrow button three times, and replace the normal “AUDIO_ITEM_CARBINERIFLE” with “AUDIO_ITEM_SERVICE_CARBINE” without the quotations of course.
After that, save and load in.
This sound mod goes great with Slick’s “Military Carbine” mod
